the year i will nod my head to tolosa

Too tired to make a read-me-i'm-really-ok-in-writing-i-don't-suck-much kinda blog so i'l just pour my guts out. Had a good learning day, colleagues made me answer the godam phone, didn't know it was part of my job description haha. wrote three messages to various high schools and to the quadricentennial of a town in marinduque (wow, ang tanda na nila). finally was able to listen in on a meeting (a real one with the senators and all) in senator enrile's consultation room. was interesting because christian monsod, hubby of my ex-teacher in basic economics winnie monsod was speaking on behalf of civil society groups regarding CARPER. weird how senators were open about it although they all had their reservations, we know that in some way or another haciendero blood runs through their veins or else they wouldn't have gotten to where they are, that is, recipients of the best education the Philippines (and for some, the world). for the most part, it made me realize how being here is serious business and how a a lot of people's dreams are pegged on this institution. funny how the senate and congress have their pointing fingers in a knot kasi nagduduruan sila ng hindi na maintindihan. lord help me survive this arena haha else i prematurely nod my head to tolosa, well that's the plan my man, but not just yet. keep your fists up
